Festivals and Marriages are around the corner, this is only a festival for most Indians that is an absolute favourite. Festivals are truly magical, the time when everyone is in a festive mood, decorating their houses with the brightest lights and rangolis, shopping with clothes and giving each other gifts. Of course, due to the global pandemic and at-home festivities and social distancing, things are a little different this year. Nonetheless, it's time to rejoice and get the light on. The lamps, the ethnic apparel, the jewellery all contribute to the festival's shine and sparkle. So why not bring your makeup up as well. It’s time to do a beauty game. For making your Festival shine and bright, Pooja Goel (Famous makeup artist in Delhi) giving you some secret tips to look gorgeous at your home:

- Apply primer before makeup: You can also apply primer before makeup because primer seals your moisturizer in and offers a smooth and even surface for makeup. It will also help the makeup to be absorbed, by giving it greater strength to remain. It blurs imperfections and the presence of fine lines and wrinkles is minimized. It also plumps and softens the skin while antioxidants battle against signs of ageing. So before applying makeup you will have flawless and youthful skin.

-Oil free base: Use an oil-free base and it will slip off your face. You should also try foundations and concealers created to last throughout the day, which are long-wear formulations.

-Blend your foundation with the skin illuminator: After applying primer blend skin illuminator to your foundation and blend it on to your whole face for a pearly glow. Skin Illuminators are simply pearlized shimmer creams that make the skin appear dewy and luminescent, reflecting light on the skin.

- Apply Eyeshadow: For a creative look in Festivals, cover your eyelid with a shiny, glitter gold eyeshadow up till the natural crease. Don't forget to highlight the metallic beige on the brow bone. For a dramatic look, follow up with a wingtip eyeliner and a mascara coat or two.

- Colour your lips with different shades: Go for poppy red, crimson, plum or even hot pink high gloss lip colours. Orange, which suits Indian skin tones very well is another colour to look out for. Whatever lipstick shades you choose be sure that must be matched with your wearing outfit. Add some gold dust in the middle of your lips that looks shiny. Alternatively, if you're not too keen on bold lips and want to keep your eyes focused, then go for a smokey eye make-up paired with shiny pink lips.

- Cream blush: If you want some rosy cheeks or glowing cheeks that won't fade then go for a cream stain rather than a powder because powder fades more quickly rather than the cream. Cream blush has a richer pigment for long Laster rosy cheeks. This is the most important step for glossy makeup. To give your face a subtle glow, use a liquid highlighter to illuminate the high points of your face, such as the cheekbones, nose bridge, cupid bow, and brow bone.
