Acne Treatment

Acne is a hair follicle disease occurring on face, chest, and back. It is mostly prevalent among teenagers when they attain puberty. Acne takes the form of blackheads, whiteheads, tender red bumps, pustules and even cysts. These occur when sebaceous glands attached to hair follicles become active because of hormonal changes during puberty. Sebum an oily substance is secreted in sufficient quantities which block follicular pores resulting in formation of acne.
